''I am delighted to share a special oil painting Print. This work is part of the new sketch series I am working on, the original was created in oils (sold) and will be among a collection of horses I have emerging in my studio.

This piece has been created to show the horse stating dominance! In Greek mythology the name Artemis comes from the Greek Goddess of animals, Artemis would punish anyone who hurt any animals sacred to her, including bears and stags.

The colour palette on this piece was painted with a softer tonal range whilst still allowing for depth and detail. Rich contrasts bounce off each other creating the colour palette you see before you the work was painted with oil with a thicker application to bring forward the texture."

Mini prints measure 8 x 10" overall. Every piece has an identifying number and is hand-signed on the front. Limited edition - once sold out it won't be available again. 

This work is printed using a fine art printer, on an archival, matte, fine art paper, I decided to change the print paper to a softer watercolour velvet texture to really bring out the deep tones. The paper is very similar to a watercolour sheet which has a soft velvety texture. 

Mounted with a backboard and cellophane cover, this piece can be gifted or popped straight into an 8" x 10" frame.

✨ About limited edition prints:

Each print comes mounted in an acid-free archival mount, with a backboard and a protective cover.  Each print has a handwritten identifying number out of the total amount released and is hand-signed by the artist. Also, the works will have an individual hand-bowed ribbon- if you would like full gift wrapping on top please select this at the checkout. My Christmas cards are available as an extra too.

Printed on a higher quality thicker archival, matte, textured fine art paper. Here you can really see the difference between a standard print and a fine art print. The limited-edition run offers a gallery-quality experience. 

How are fine art prints created:

All prints are printed using a Canon fine art printer, on fine art paper. The inks used to create this work are special art printing inks, not your standard printer ink, my prints have enhanced print longevity, they will last approximately 200 years in a photo album, 80 years on display behind normal glass in sunlight before they start to fade!

A1 prints will have a longer lead time as they require printing from a fine art lab in London UK. ( Around 1 to 2 weeks)

For International A3, A2, A1 orders outside of the EU please be aware that your order will not come mounted, but presented with a backboard, cellophane cover and ribbon or rolled in a tube. This is due to the increase in postage costs once the package is over a certain size and also to protect the works from damage when flying to thier new homes. Mini prints and A4 orders will come mounted. Thank you for understanding.
