Commission your Painting

FAQs with the artist

Waiting list & Booking

At present my waiting list is starting up for quarter 1 of 2025, This means when you have paid your deposit, your painting will be started during that section of the year.

Once you have paid the deposit. I will be in contact within 72 hours- to discuss your commission, references, timeframe and ideas. if you would prefer to talk through your commission first please email me via the contact page or at hello@chloebrownart.co.uk

Delivery process

UK postage £25, Europe £50 and Worldwide postage £80 if you are booking outside of the UK, please let me know before I start the commission as there are restrictions and we may need to change to canvas as this can be rolled into a tube. All commissions are sent trackable, insured and will require a signature upon delivery.

Payment process

A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required to book, you are paying to book a space in my calendar. - This will be deducted from the total balance. After booking we will discuss photos, ideas and I would love to see any video footage.

Once your allocated time arrives I will send you a rough digital mock-up of your portrait and then the remaining balance should be paid. This can be done in full or split into two halves- one before I start and the final amount on completion before posting. The remaining balance will be requested via an invoice which can be paid by card online.

Photo Reference & Videos

To bring out the soul and spirit of your pet I find it best to see as many photos and videos as you can share. A particular pose from a photo can be used or I can create a “made-up” pose.

Images should be of high quailty however if it is not possible I may be use what you have.

Mockups

Once it is time to start your painting and I have received your photos and had a brief talk about colour, ideas and composition i will digitally create a rough mock-up to form the base of the sketch before moving on to painting. This practice I feel gives us both a great start to creating work to cherish

Lets talk about your artwork.
