Floret was painted with the dressage movement half pass in mind, it's one of my favourite dressage movements. I find half pass has lots of energy and I have used warm Autumn tones. I hope you can see and feel the movement and energy.
The name was inspired by the type of dried flowers that I applied. The flower is called coriandum sativum. On the original piece, I added the flowers in to enhance the detail and composition. From far away you might not notice they are there until you come closer to the piece. My intention is to blend them into the work rather than just sit them on top, I've done this by cutting them into shapes and placing them in their planned spots.
The prints are printed with the finest archival art inks, on 300gsm paper (thick card-like paper)
The edition is limited to 15 pieces
